Had to hit the road running as soon as I got back, which is why I have disappeared.

Deadlines. Deadlines. Deadlines. Deadlines everyday. All for that one big deadline of 25th Dec.

Also we were having test screenings of 3i before Raju locked the cut. Test screening take a fair amount of time, running time of the film plus 2 to 3 hrs of discussions. That stage is complete now and I think we have a film.

Currently the shoot for the last song is on so I guess I should try and get in a few hours of rest. Just popped in to say hi.

spare time 4 this in ur tight sch.

i've watched almost all of ur movies n there is none tht i
disliked, n m really lukin fwd 2 3i cuz i did love d bk as well,

this is my first post on ur blog and i would take this
opportunity to thank you for giving us fabulous time while
watching ur movies again & again. While writing this i'm again
watching Lagaan and this my 90th time and i'm enjoying this like
i'm watching it first time.

I take it that you are talking about your film with Director Raju
(Rajkumar Hirani).

I heard that your film with Raju will be premiered in late
December this year, correct? I would love to attend the
ceremony. Any feedback? I would be grateful to receive

@Jamila! I knew you would laugh.
I will not be there this weekend dearest. I had enough of
computers and electronic stuff...
I am going to remove myself from the world for few days. My
friends hate this thing about me. I don't answer phone calls or
emails, no TV, no movies etc.

@ Ashu and ark: LOL you guys are driving me nuts with this "hip"
code talk. And the moment you mention the name Shahid, I just
lose all control over my brain, especially if the word hips is
also somehow involved (please don't judge, it's not my fault the
default image for when those two words are in the same sentence
is something altogether delicious). So please, please, please put
me out of my misery and tell me all about it... I'm going to die
of curiosity... help!!! :)

DHOKHA!!!

Dear Aamir,

Disney has released Taare Zameen Par in the US but dubbed in
English with English subtitles!!!

Pardon my French but *WTF*!!!

What about the millions of Indians and Pakistanis here in the US
and Canada who can speak and understand Urdu and Hindustani?
Do we have to undergo the torture of watching a dubbed movie (I
thought the Chinese Kung Fu movies were bad enough)

And to further rub salt on my festering wounds, the Box set I
bought in India refuses to play on my DVD even though it says
"all regions" on the box!!

let me check on this.
as far as I know Disney was supposed to release a version which has the English dub, but also has the original language with or withoutr subtltles.

Officials stormed the home of a physician Friday afternoon on
suspicion of abandonment and neglect of an extremely valuable
Limited Edition LAGAAN Box set. Concerned citizens flooded the
precinct with calls after the doctor allegedly admitted to the
ill-treatment of the prized collection on its producer’s blog.

“This is an extremely heart-wrenching case” said detective Winky
McFinklestein, head of DVD abuse investigations. “We want to do
everything that we can to make sure that the LAGAAN box set is
relocated to a suitable foster home as soon as possible” he
added.

As he was lead away in handcuffs, the doctor shouted “I just
bought it for the sketch! Do you expect me to actually watch
LAGAAN every single night? I already know the good guys win in
the end!”

No word on whether additional charges will be brought against the
doctor for stashing the box set under the crushing weight of his
VHS collection of “E.R.” re-runs.

G'day Stranger,

Nice to hear you're busy and working towards the 25th Deadline...
really looking forward to the release, althought I'll miss first
show as I'll be on a plane... I hope there is a cinema in
Brisbane showing it.

OK... so my news is.... I QUIT smoking today!!! Yep, I've finally
done it and feel OK. I'm determined to stay the course and be
free of the addiction. I hope you too are staying strong (your
strenght will give me more strength).

Dear Aamir,

How do you guys select the audience for a pre release showing?

I remember you talking about it, and how you watch the audiences
reaction to predict the fate of the film (and for any last minute
changes to improve it's chances)
