Have finally crossed all the ''''t''''s and dotted all the ''''i''''s... I think.

Have just reached home after completing the last bit of work on the film. I cannot believe it is finally over. Will be checking the print in a couple days, I hope there wont be any technical delays. The last one month has been killing. Can''t wait for it to release now.

In response to some of the queries that have been coming up;

TZP is a film about children, NOT a children''s film. It is aimed primarily at parents, and potential parents. Youngsters who in a few years will become parents. Of coure since it is about an 9 year old boy I expect that kids around 8 years and above will identify with the boy and find the film engaging, moving and uplifting. I have no idea how kids below 8 years will react to the film. Sure there are some fun moments for them like a couple of animation sequences, and the BUM BUM BOLE song, which I believe is a hot favourite with little kids, but in esssence the film speaks to an 8 years and above audience.

In my oplnion it is THE most important film on children to come out of India. I mean in its content. How you all will like it I have no idea, but what I can say is that it has changed the way that I looked at my kids. And mind you, I think that I am a good father. In fact it changed the way that I look at all children.

As we take on the burdens of adulthood we often gradually distance ourselves from our children, even our own childhood. This script brought it all back into sharp focus for me.

I hope it does the same for you.

And now I am going to sleep. I mean serious sleep.

Hi Amir, There is another thing that your movie addresses without
your knowing and that is ADD, or Attention Deficit Disorder. It
is very common among children. Maybe Dyslexia aggravates the
problem but the sad thing is that ADD exists in some form or the
other in many children and adults and the sad truth is that we
don't even know it is ADD. In fact it was there with many we went
to school and college with and it even exists among our
colleagues at work and beyond. You could have done a little
research on ADD to compliment Dyslexia in the movie as ADD
awareness is still in its infancy in India. Rgds, Subash.

Hi Aamir,
this is Karthik from Bangalore. I had posted several times in
your blog previously but u never replied!
I have written a "script" tentatively titled The MAHABHARATA
Code. I want a top notch director to make a movie out of it. I
have no idea how to go about! Can u plssssss help me? I can mail
u few excerpts from the script if u want. In the script I have
tried to prove that our gods were not mere mythological
characters but were very much a part of our history.

PS:this is no prank post

I love that dialouge in tzp " Jab tribals walon ko kheti karni
hoti hai aur beech mein ped aa jaye to woh uss ped ko kat te nahi
balki koste hain." I love the inspiration given through this
dialouge that what ever people say let them do your own work in
own way.
3. and last incident I was sitting in cinema hall 3 young boys of
20-25 age were watching the movie and one said that "kya boring
movie hai" then second said "u shud not watch this movie ask ur
father to see this movie.

Good job. I dont know what to write about your film. But It show
me and wife a way for my Son Raghav. In whole movie I got
emotional.I would like share some moments with you.
This incident was before launch of tzp. I went to my son's school
parent teacher meeting to meet my son's class teacher and I told
her about my wish of making my son of model in advertisements and
same words her teacher told me what ever you said to ishaant's
parent in film that see talent of your child and then accordingly
decide about his/her future. After watching your movie I have
changed my views about son.
