I remember watching it in the cinema, i loved that it was in animation, and it was really smart of the filmmakers in that the only part of the picture that was actually showing real people was SUCH a tiny part of the film, such a small scope, like 'Schindler's List' (1993). I think that if the whole movie was like the ending, so concentrated in that shock, and grief, people would not be able to handle it as much, it would have been too overwhelming to fully witness and understand properly, but that's what war is i guess.
There are some other interesting films about isreali/arab life
Ajami (2009) is quite vivid, look it up if you get the chance.

ADMIRE FOR BEING BRAVE AND DARING TO MAKE FILMS THAT IS BEAUTIFUL AND GOOD. I feel the quality of film story is always compromised when it is thought in the line of making money. BUT YOU DARE TO MAKE Films that is not mainstream...KEEP MAKING THOSE KIND OF FILM.

I am completely ecstatic that you and Rani Mukherji will be making a film together again!!!! :) Yipeeeeeee!!!!!!! I was more than elated when I heard such news, and I cannot wait for the movies' release. To top it off, I am thrilled that you will be playing a role in Dhoom 3. I totally wanted and hoped that you would agree to do this film, and I am glad you did! I cannot wait for the release of this film as well.

Dhobi Ghat did it...for it came the closest of what I expected of you...it came in your form via Kiran...great movie...the way the story, movie and it's treatment has been, it touches the lives...shows...there are sensitive people still around us. Now I turn a bigger fan of the cinema you endorse and that I have love for.
