Happy Dipawali

Hey folks, one more year passes and as the new year approaches I would like to wish everyone a very happy Diwali and a prosperous new year.

I know I have been away for a bit. The last one week has been very busy with 3i work. The final song is done and now the cut is locked too. I think we have managed to make the film that we set out to. In the coming weeks I will tell you more about the film and what is happening.

As you can well imagine the good old butterflies have begun to spread their wings once again and their feathery touch has started to tickle my insides.

Am tempted to try and snuff them out with smoke from a fresh B&H, but I wonít. I think this time I have quit for good. So please ignore media reports about me smoking.

Lots of love.

@Kata my dear friend,

I have this method of learning hindi, but it is not sufficient for me in grammar and conjugation.
About the Berlinale i don't know if your post is for me or for Daniela of Austria?
If your post is for me, sorry i can't come even if if wanted too;-)

Nice to see you again.
Your post 2411 has deeply touched me.
I had tears in my eyes when i read it.
About your father, i understand you very much, he was when i was a young girl a domineering person, with no love, no kisses, I had never receive congratulations from him, it was just the reverse anything i did was bad, he insult me with these words.
Now it is over and out and he is an old man but i never forget ...

All my love for you, my friend Kata

Thank you Mira. I didn't know that life in Spanish is feminine, in German it's neutral... You are right, Salsa helps a lot getting into a positive/constructive mood. I can't really dance it, but I love to go to Salsa places in Berlin, it's incredible. And concerning writers block... sometimes I read Deepak Chopra "the book of secrets" and it helps a little just for the imagination. I wish you a lot of inspiration, love, stars and energy for your book! good luck! Katharina

I haven't seen your friend request on FB
Can you tell me where it is?

Dear Danielle, you find explanations of Hindi Grammar in the French language program Asimil, it's not the clearest but... I got a little discouraged because my old Hindi teacher, which I had for 10 lessons, complained that my Hindi is so bad that I should stop opening my mouth. But in some days I'll restart.
Thank you Nasrin for your comment, I agree that any story needs a deeper message. But sometimes I write 2-3 messages in a story, not clearly focusing on one message which could help the story and the spectator? Don't you think?
Dear CoolFriend and Jamila, could you cook Tangine? I love Tangine, friends of mine in Paris cook it, what an art. Lately I was in a cinema where they ate something with a lot of vinegar, it was awful to have this smell for 90' in your nose;)
Dear Daniella Do you come to Berlinale? Perhaps we could see "Dhobi Ghat", what for a dream, I am waiting for this film. But perhaps Cannes or Venice is better? Kisses to everyone Katharina

Hi Katharina. I'm glad I could be of any help for you to be ready for your meeting.

I was feeling the same way until very recently, but I've decided to take life by its horns and tell her (her because Life is a "she" in Spanish): "you know what? I'm not perfect. So what? Deal with it"

Sending lots of (imperfect) love

TBF, you and I speak the same language, my friend! There's nothing like a good nap to get over any ailment.

Dear Neeta and Jamila, thanks so much for cheering me up. Book or no book, I want to continue being the Queen of my Life (Aline, just like that old ranchera "El Rey", huh?), or in other words, I need to feel strong again. At some point my writer's block was driving me to undesirably deep and dark places, so... I shook the weight off with some salsa music... maybe when my serotonin levels rise high enough, I'll sit and visit my "book" (or pamphlet, for all I know) again.

Aamir, the trailer looks really cool, vibrant and dynamic! I hope there are more to come, can't wait to see you acting again (in a happier film this time)! I need my serotonin levels back. :-)
