PADMANATS:
Followers of Sri Aurobindo and the French Mother, who are worshipped, since Sri Aurobindo's follows "Guru Pooja" style Hinduism, are strict vegetarians.
At least in the Pondicherry Ashram, including Auroville, they are served only vegetarian diet and are recommended a vegetarian diet , as part of the spiritual exercise, even if they happen to live outside.
Almost without exception all Hindu sannyasi gurus, elsewhere also advocate a vegetarian diet as part of spiritual exercise.

THANKS TO THE IDEOLOGY OF SANGH PARIVAR, INDIAN CHRISTIANS LIVING IN INDIA ARE BECOMING MORE AND MORE LIKE JEWS IN NAZI GERMANY.
MY CONCERN IS BECAUSE THE RABID IDEOLOGY IS BEING ACCEPTED AND SUPPORTED BY MORE AND MORE INTELLIGENTSIA BOTH IN INDIA AND AMONG POI AND NRI LIVING IN COMFORT AND TOTAL FREEDOM IN CHRISTIAN MAJORITY WESTERN DEMOCRACIES.
THE TOTAL HYPOCRISY OF THE POI AND NRI SANGH PARIVAR SUPPORTERS FROM WESTERN COUNTRIES IS SADLY NOT OBVIOUS TO THEM EVEN THOUGH IT IS RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES.

I do not wish to make a "vulgar display" of my knowledge of religions. That was not the intent of adding my two cents to topics that were raised or responding to posts addre ssed to me. In this day and age of Internet forums, there are plenty of places where one may go to dis cuss any specific topic.
SINCE AAMIR DEALS WITH POLITICAL THEMES IN HIS MOVIES, AT LEAST IN TWO OF THE THREE MOVIES OF HIS I HAVE SEEN, I DIDN'T FEEL IT WAS INAPPROPRIATE TO DIS CUSS POLITICS OR RELIGION HERE AS THE TOPIC CAME UP.
THANKS TO SANGH PARIVAR, RELIGION HAS BECOME PART OF MAINSTREAM INDIAN POLITICS. NEVER MIND THE INDIAN CONSTITUTION IS A SECULAR ONE WHICH GIVES FREEDOM OF RELIGION TO ALL.

Modern Hindutva, has now invented history on behalf of Christians in Kerala like me. I'm to understand, as per the new understanding, my ancestors came from Persia and they were given refuge in India by Hindu kings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why such a invented history? It doesn't fit the modern Hindutva to admit that some Hindu Brahmins and many high caste Hindus in Kerala willingly converted to Christianity, and it was no less than an Apostle of Jesus, Thomas who brought about the conversion.
THAT IS WHAT I WAS REFERRING IN MY POST TO YOU AAMIR WHEN I WROTE THAT MY ANCESTORS WERE NOT REFUGEES.

Anyone who is familiar with Kendriya Vidhyalayas know that we get drilled with unity in diversity patriotism. We are taught that Mother India loves all her children equally, and the different languages, cultures and languages of India are all an integral part of her.

I did the first three years of my schooling in Kerala, in two simple village schools in the home villages of both my parents. My father's village had a large percentage of Muslims, along with Christians and Hindus, wherea s my mother's village was predominantly Christian, with fewer Hindus. And my clas s reflected the local population.
In Tamil Nad, I studied first in a convent school run by nuns from Thris sur dist, which admitted also non-Christians. After two years I luckily got admi ssion as a civilian in a Kendriya Vidhyalaya (central school). I studied in Tamil Nad, and then moved to a KV in Bangalore from which I pa ssed out.
